Colonialism was a regression. This work aims to demonstrate this through the lens of biology, ethology and anthropology, within a broader analytical framework, to reveal the underlying primitive mechanisms that support it. These mechanisms, whose existence historical narratives have long sought to conceal. We will see that colonialism probably has its roots in the earliest stages of human evolution.
