Upon receiving a key with a raven insignia, Beatriz discovers a hidden room in the National Library containing the Raven Archives—records of unexplained phenomena collected since 1892. Through recovered fragments of memory, Beatriz learns that her "addiction" and subsequent memory-erasing therapy were fabrications designed to suppress her knowledge of entities called "Memory Eaters" that selectively remove human memories. She discovers that she had worked closely with Eduardo before her memories were erased. In the final chapter, Beatriz and neurologist Sofia journey to the Algarve coast, finding a hidden cave chamber containing an ancient mechanism. There, they confront former Archivist Victor Reis, who reveals the "Memory Eaters" are part of an alien consciousness harvesting human minds. Rather than joining this collective as intended, Beatriz uses the raven key to permanently seal the interdimensional doorway, freeing humanity from this external influence while recovering her memories.
