The garden, created by former botanist Devraj Singh through an experimental accident, maintains a perfect microclimate of eternal spring. Within it lives Surya, a boy physically twelve years old but with fifty years of accumulated wisdom—the garden's most unique creation and ultimately the source of its instability. As the garden begins to collapse, threatening catastrophic temporal release that would kill everyone in the valley, Meera discovers the truth: Surya's human biology creates a paradox within the temporal stasis field. Facing imminent destruction, Surya chooses to sacrifice himself by leaving the valley, knowing the quantum shock will age him fifty years in minutes. Using a device Devraj creates to buffer the aging process, Surya crosses the eastern boundary, successfully realigning the garden with normal time flow. The village survives but must now adapt to the reality of seasonal change as the garden—and their lives—rejoin the natural progression of time.
