When ex-con Jari Knox wakes with a mysterious eye tattoo etched into his arm, his world begins to crack. The eye sees things—future crimes, stolen memories, buried truths—and it's watching him more than he's watching it. Desperate, he turns to Asha Calder, an ex-street shaman turned dream therapist, who believes the ink carries fragments of a long-dead god sleeping beneath the city.

As visions spread and strangers bear the same cursed marks, the boundaries between body, spirit, and city begin to erode. And when street photographer Mara Chen captures a faceless figure in an abandoned district, she unknowingly uncovers the first clue to Meridian's oldest secret.
