This book provides best practices that can be applied using examples that I've experienced personally or witnessed and intervened in professionally as a social worker. As society changes, so does the way we parent. There is a slight shift that has been lost in the "fad of life" and in the lack of balance in our life. This book is not intended to measure your parenting skills but more of a way for you to add some methods to your parenting journey because as parents we can always utilize these skills to raise our children not just watch them grow. You will read the importance of curtailing your child's behavior, how to communicate openly, and understanding there should be precision in building your own family culture while parenting. Real life examples will be provided in order to give you insight on how certain methods can be implemented but these examples are not limited to how you may have to apply it in your parenting journey. Well, you know that old saying "we want to have children to get it out of the way" well, the only thing you can get out the way is the pregnancy but "getting a child or children out the way" is not accurate because parenting is a lifelong journey and technically a lifetime worry, and responsibility for life.
