Tired of his family's overbearing protection, Kano leaves his homeworld alone to blow off some steam for a few weeks. He soon finds himself framed for a crime, and he's transported to the prison on Vaharis 6 before he can even think of finding help. Being a prince saves him from being trapped on Vaharis 6, but freedom is still beyond his grasp as he's forced to go with a man who intends to ransom him. Kano can only pray he's reunited with his family before anyone finds out the reason his parents have always been so protective.

Vivek is furious when his uncle shows up with a prisoner from Vaharis 6. He wants nothing to do with another ransoming scheme, yet he's also glad to get the terrified man out of his uncle's clutches.
