A time-capsule from the 1980's is discovered in New York City's Grand Central Terminal. Buried for over 100 years, the box contains an old-style video tape recording of a young reporter, Serene Winters, her journal, dated 1986, and a fascinating cache of artifacts linked to three of history's most sensational crimes, the assassinations of Lincoln and Kennedy and the notorious Jack the Ripper murders. Most astonishing of all is Serene's story of how she collected them.

Serene's Story

In 1986, while covering the launch of the space shuttle Challenger, Serene meets the handsome, mysterious Will. Intrigued, she pursues him for her newspaper column and learns his secret. He's a time traveler from the future. This fateful discovery launches Serene on a journey in time to some of history's most riveting moments. It's a chance of a lifetime for a novice reporter until things go terribly wrong. When Will devises a plan to set things right, it risks more than her life, it risks her heart. So, Serene must devise a plan of her own to prove that love doesn't just happen by chance. Sometimes it's a matter of destiny.
