One Halloween Night
There was some fright
And evil was afoot.
A wretched plan
To destroy Man
With fire, ash, and soot.
Lone moonlit beam
Of silver light
Did shine upon one knight:
A prophesy
To save the world
Or, at least, put up a fight.
Richard, this brave man, he was,
Except, no man was he!
For he was a vampire,
Destined to do battle against his own kind,
You see.
In a sleepy New Hampshire hamlet,
Where evil lurks and grows,
Friends and foes,
He is destined to find,
As the Halloween shadows grow late:
A tender love named Noah,
The monster named Fangs and their hate.
Come heed the call
Of angels' wings
As destiny unfurls,
Will you open this book,
And turn to page one
To see if Richard saves the world?
