The Odyssey of a Middle School Teacher is a story of one teacher's pursuit of a teaching certificate. Dr. St. Clair did not enter education by way of a teacher education program, he did so by and going from school-to-school following a road less traveled in his "alternative path" to licensure. He encountered some of the usual (and many unusual!) challenges in his odyssey. Commute 150 miles a day? The target of an act of reckless endangerment? Bogus police charges filed? There are many more experiences in his odyssey that range from the absurd to the sublime...and all told with a keen sense of wit and humor.
