Immortality and magic. A gift and a curse.

Aella Saluagius is an immortal, elemental witch who is seeking redemption for the terrible destruction she caused in her hometown of Aquileia, in 15th century Italy, after the Inquisitors tortured and murdered her mother and sister. She has fled to the mountains and an ancient portal of power, with the remaining members of her mother's coven. The potency of the elements is thrumming in her veins, but she dare not unleash them again, not without the other's help. But evil resides at the foot of the mountain, housed in the Castello di Calvane. The women of the coven cannot stand by and bear witness to the fate of their new friends.
