Two rookie lawmen, Sheriff Doolan and Deputy Cage Wilder, had taken the responsibility of establishing law and order in a town too young to be tamed and too wild not to try. Their first task was uncovering the web of deceit and death orchestrated by two men. Bill Scurr and Milton White, had spent their lives in search of wealth and power, yet, it always seemed out of reach. Doolan and Wilder must use their wit, brute force and speed of the gun, not only to bring the men to justice, but to remind people that the law had come to Willow Springs.
