ARMT XXXV is the third and final volume devoted to the early reign of Zimri-Lim, the last king of Mari. It contains a majority of previously unpublished texts, but also includes the revival of documents already published, following collations or thanks to new understandings. The letters published here are those of Hali-hadun, which make the link with ARMT XXXIV, as well as documents from the new generation of mar yamina kings, those who replaced the Bedouin chiefs defeated in the conflict between them and the king of Mari. In accordance with the custom of publishing texts from Mari, the entire file in their names is published here, sometimes up to the end of the reign of Zimri-Lim. The period under study is that during which the armies of Esnunna reached the regions of the Tigris which constituted the heart of the empire of the deceased Samsi-Addu, king of Ekallatum. In this highly complex period, the focus is mainly on Yaggih-Addu, the Yarihean prince, a survivor of the first generation of Bedouin kings, who tried to the last, but in vain, to oppose the power of Mari.
