English summary: Propositions 18-35 in the first book of Durandus' Commentaries of the Sentences, which are presented here in the form of a critical edition, follow on from the immediately preceding propositions on the theology of the Trinity. In particular they examine the concept of the gift of the Holy Spirit, the equality of holy trinity, the omnipotence of God as well as the predication of names of God. In addition to these genuinely theological questions, Durandus makes a long, purely philosophical digression in the nineteenth proposition, in which he examines the question of whether truth is to be found in things or in the soul, as well as engaging in a polemical debate with Thomas Aquinas. This segment, which is critically edited here for the first time, seems to exist in a version that deviates not only from the 'third' but also from the 'first edit'.
