This short novel is a swift and sweeping history of the East, which plants the reader at the border of the 15th dynasty of Egypt, a nation which sets the stage for the journey Jacob will have to make. Jacob walks into that part of dying Egypt with his 70 souls around him, not realizing that there is a new Egypt awaiting him. As Jacob was settling down in Egypt, Job, just south of the Dead Sea, was about to experience absolute tragedy for the first time. Just as Job began to recover from his losses, a man with mental illness by the name of Manu, in India, was promoting a false religion called Hindu. But little did Manu know that Hinduism would become the East's chief rival to Christianity, which was a religion that seemed new, but was actually a continuation of Judaism. And so the headquarters of Jesus brought about 2 competing swords in the world: the sword of self-righteousness and the sword of the Lord's Spirit. The latter sword inspired a student of Jesus named Thomas to go to India and destroy the works of the Devil by confronting the Hindus of India. Almost 7 centuries later, just as India's Christians started gaining steam, along came the Muslims with their swords; but the Hindus knew how to play the pagan game and figured out a way to outsmart Muslims and therefore maintain their dominance in India - all the while, the Christians put up the good fight of faith, even though they were doing so in a carnal fashion. Just as Thomas' spiritual descendants in India were about to throw in the towel, a new batch of revived Christians showed up from the West: a batch of believers called Englishmen. Their encouragement gave India's Christians enough strength to ride the wave of sure knowledge, which would eventually lead the world back to the wisdom of the Middle East: a place where people were finally starting to find out about the true nature of the worldwide Church. Their wisdom surprised even the heathen when it was learned that the next stage of hope for the globe's holy elect was an event called...the rapture!
