The idiom "all roads lead to Rome" has been around for a while, and we find ourselves today with people still looking for their "road to Rome" in search of whatever will fill a void in their lives. These roads could be anything from the pursuit of wealth to fame and social or intellectual status, but unfortunately, none of the roads can lead them to "Rome" (fulfillment). Instead, many of the so-called roads to Rome have led to all sorts of pain and disappointments, but there is always hope.
