Having escaped her abductors' clutches and dealt with the bishop's aide, Lam can finally resume working on her goal: divorcing her husband Char and regaining her freedom... Or at least that's what she would be doing, if she hadn't started to genuinely like the Mercures. Since taking charge of the schoolhouse, Lam finds herself enjoying this new life, and with her new family making so much progress, it feels wrong to leave now. Thus, she decides to put her desire for independence on the back burner and focuses on helping her family develop their magical abilities. Just as things seem to be going smoothly, Lam receives a sudden summons from the king. Apparently, the first prince of the Lèvres Kingdom—Tête Kingdom's neighbor—has requested Lam visit his country for a diplomatic mission! Confused but without much choice, Lam sets off with Char to the foreign court. But what awaits the pair on their journey? And why is this prince so determined to meet her?
