This book consists of three titles:

- Impressionism: The birth of Impressionism marked a significant departure from the artistic norms that had dominated Europe for centuries. In the mid-19th century, France was experiencing rapid industrialization, urbanization, and social transformation, which would shape not only society but also the arts. Traditional academic painting, with its rigid rules and idealized depictions, could no longer keep up with the changing times.
