Video games are a pastime activity that allows individuals to escape reality. After logging into what seemed to be this year's game of the year, Beta, Eshal, and two million other players find themselves trapped in a digital world where they must fight for their survival. In the fantasy land of Hollow, when the blood moon rises and your mark glows a bright crimson, death lurks at every step. Beta and Eshal must plan and prepare for obstacles such as puzzles, bosses, rival players, and, more importantly, their own inner struggles. To survive, they must evade the Seven Deadly, who roam these lands, and resist the hollowness that plagues one's heart in times of crisis. A new world awaits them, and one wrong step could be their last.
