Eamon Quinn is a recent university graduate with designs on a position with Rose & Thorn Theatrics. He's ready for the acting challenge, but he's not so sure about life in the big city—until he meets Jasper Davison. Jasper is intriguing and unusual, unlike anyone Eamon has met before. He feels an immediate attraction, which Jasper returns. When both men are hired by Rose & Thorn, their causal flirtations blossom into a physical relationship that turns out to have magical properties.

Jasper Davison is a mountain-born soul who's been in coastal Yanuk for too long. He's been missing the company of someone else with that familiar mountain feeling, and when Eamon Quinn arrives in town it's like a dream brought to life. Pleased to find a mutual physical attraction with Eamon, Jasper takes matters further and discovers his instincts were right; Eamon carries that same energy Jasper does, and together they can literally make magic happen.

HJ Greenhills is a Rose & Thorn apprentice who's delighted by the two new hires. Aside from their obvious talents on the stage, the men are charming, friendly, and terrifically good looking. While it's clear to her that they're together, they both show signs of being open for a bit of feminine company.

Bad luck plagues the Rose & Thorn theatre—accidents, injuries, and a sudden death—leading to rumors of a curse. Weaving sexual energy with ancient magic, Eamon and Jasper seek the truth behind the rumors. Confirming the curse is only the first hurdle; they must find a way to break it. But they are only two and the old magic works best in threes. They need the help of a third person, and HJ is more than happy to oblige.

Can the trio summon enough of the old magic to break the curse before it can do more harm?

A magical ménage story.
