For Yvette Townsend-Burton, life in Keating Hollow has never been better. Together with her husband Jacob, she has two perfect daughters and a thriving bookstore. But when a spell is accidentally cast after reading a passage in a children's book aloud, suddenly life in Keating Hollow isn't so magical anymore. Yvette's bookstore, along with all her family's businesses, are failing. To save their livelihoods as well as the town itself, Yvette will need to find the author of the children's book who vanished over five years ago and convince them to undo the curse or else the very fabric of Keating Hollow will be ripped apart for forever.
