Traditional holy books always begin with the creation of the universe, but the real story begins long before our universe was created. It begins in a different universe entirely. There, Enlil and Nammu were not gods, they were scientists, exploring other dimensions, seeking to create a bridge to new and different universes. But when their universe began to Shatter, their quest became a desperate search for an escape.
This is the true tale of Enlil, of how the universe actually came into existence, why life exists all through this universe and why all life is related. It tells of the real Exodus, how Enlil and Asherah had seventy-seven children, where the gods of Earth came from and where they disappeared to. It tells us who we are and where we came from. It tells us what and who we will find when we eventually reach for the stars.
This then is the true story from which all our holy books draw from.
It all began in Sumeria. The tale of how Enlil created the universe out of nothing. Tales of the seventy-seven children of Enlil and Ish'tah, later known as El and Asherah, children who became the gods and goddesses of the ancient earth. God's who imbue both the best and the worst traits of humanity. Gods and goddesses who teach humanity, arts, writing, wisdom and peace. Daemons, fallen deities who introduced evil into the world, jealousies, hatred, corruption and wars.
The Nephilim, angels of the one god El, tasked to watch over humankind, angels who fell from grace and lay with human women and thereby corrupted humanity. Tales of angels, resembling humanity, but possessing great wings of white and gold. Angels who could fly, angels of justice, retribution and vengeance. Why Sumeria? Perhaps because Sumeria is where Enlil and his people first landed on the planet, to meet and evaluate his creations, and where his children fell from grace and precipitated the devastation of humanity.
All those tales have trickled down throughout human history, appearing again and again within humanity's many, oh, so many, holy books, and then re-appearing amongst our wildest conspiracy theories. Books of gods and goddesses living on high mountains while demons thrive on the Earth and below. Tales of civilizations and golden ages long-lost. Tales of truth, twisted and changed by time, but still tales of possible truths. If you know how to read them. These are the truths behind the tales.
