Brian Murphy thought he knew what he wanted in life. A fisherman by trade, his dream was to open a restaurant and feed the world, or at least his corner of County Clare—until one day while out on his boat he heard the most beautiful song. Unable to resist the music, he followed the sound to a woman clad in golden chain mail stranded on a beach below the Cliffs of Moher. Brian offered her a lift, and lost his heart in the process.

Aoife was not one to be trifled with. She was the champion of Kilstiffen, a legendary city that sat at the bottom of the sea off the west coast of Ireland. As a merrow her voice was as strong as her sword arm—until she uncovered a treasonous plot that could end her people's way of life forever. After losing a fight against those scheming to destroy her home, Aoife was stranded on a remote, almost inaccessible beach, injured and unable to sing. As she reluctantly accepts Brian's help, she realizes that he may be exactly what she needed, in more ways than one.

A Sea of Secrets and Salvation is the romantic prequel to Merrowkin. It features a drowned city, a plot against the king, enchanting music, and a forbidden love stronger than the mortal world above and the land of gods and monsters below.
