Wuzzle is a fictional animal called a fuzzle. A fuzzle has bodily characteristics of both mammals and gastropods (snails), requiring a shell for protection. One day Wuzzle finds himself homeless; this situation causes fuzzles who had previously been his friends to now ignore and ridicule him. It is an eye-opening experience for Wuzzle as he tries to grapple with and dispel the stigmas of homelessness and help other homeless fuzzles. The story is applicable to any homeless living being and may generate discussion about this serious social problem. Fifty percent of the proceeds of this book will go to The Thomas J. O'Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center in Springfield, Massachusetts.
