In the small town of Soy Sauce Town, Jing Ji sat in a nondescript corner, weakened by hunger, having not eaten for three or four days. In this world, everyone could cultivate various elemental spiritual powers, but he was an exception, with no elements existing within him. Just as he was about to be driven to the brink by starvation, a man dressed in black appeared.

This mysterious man in black noticed Jing Ji's oddity; he was one of the few without any elemental spiritual power, and this rarity made him a suitable candidate for the "Spirit Devouring Seed." Under the guidance of the mysterious man, the Spirit Devouring Seed was planted into his chest. The process was fraught with pain and uncertainty, and Jing Ji nearly fainted, but the changes within his body made him feel a strength he had never known.

"Who are you to him?" Jing Ji curiously watched the girl tidying up the desk, starting a chat with her, as there was nothing else to do. The empty office only had the two of them, a hint of dawn breaking outside catching Jing Ji's glance. It was almost daylight, and he had unknowingly spent several hours here.
