My electricity bill is $333 per month, for a total of $4,000 annually. Wouldn't it be nice to pay my electric bill with dividends?
Amazingly, I can by using closed-end funds. CEFs are similar to exchange-traded funds but have a set number of shares.
CEFs use leverage to pay significant dividends. My favorite CEFs have yields between 10% and 14%.
If I invest $29,000 in a CEF that pays 14%, I will receive $4,000 annually. That is enough to pay my electricity bill for the rest of my life. How amazing is that? Good Luck!
