I recently came across a little-known story about the body of an alleged Bigfoot creature that was discovered in the forests of Oregon shortly after the Columbus Day Storm of 1962. Although I was not familiar with this particular Bigfoot story, I was quite familiar with the Columbus Day Storm because it occurred on my thirteenth birthday while my family sheltered in place as our house sustained extensive damage from the powerful winds and torrential rain. Although eyewitness accounts of this Bigfoot incident appeared in local newspapers, it never gained national attention. Was this Bigfoot story based on the truth or was it a hoax? Well, that's what we hope to find out.
