When death finds a member of the small farming community of Elory, Chief Matt Mason knows his station isn't equipped to handle the investigation of such a gruesome murder. He puts in a call for assistance and in answer to his call, he receives Sergeant Terry Green from the IDCI.

Armed with Terry's big city expertise, Chief Mason leads his team as they battle a lack of resources and the weight of charting unknown territory to solve the case.
