We are all part of a community. We rely on each other for the clean water we drink, the healthy air we breathe, the temperate climate we move through, and the critical supplies we use to get through a day.
Even if we were to live on a farm and grow our own food, and made every single supply from local objects, we would still be reliant on the good will of our neighbors around the world for so many other things. The skies above us might torrentially rain or they might go dry for months on end, all due to the actions of people down the street or in the next state.

We are all interconnected. Interwoven.

The more we can help support each other, the better our community as a whole can thrive. It would be the rare person who would never appreciate a helping hand at some point in their own life.

We are all in this together.

As the Dalai Lama said:

Be kind whenever possible.
It is always possible.

I support battered women's shelters.
