"The desires of the ghost in me" explores the various obstacles that an inexperienced girl encounters as she progresses through life's phases. It demonstrates how one could become engrossed in the fixation that mimics what we refer to as love. She remained in a circumstance that nearly destroyed her after being brought to her lowest point by someone she regarded in the highest regard. She felt ashamed, scared, and powerless. We frequently hear that love overcomes all obstacles or that someone would sacrifice their life for love. On the contrary, this is dying every day while continuing to breathe due to its infatuation with what appeared to be love. This girl was put in a dark hole from which she was unable to escape due to manipulation, humiliation, abuse, and open contempt.

So, she kept trying and looking for a way out, and when she couldn't find one, she concluded there was only one thing to do, create an entity, a replica of her. The ghost lives inside her, because of anger, bewilderment, and obsession, but it began to develop desires. These desires erased all her own, as the ghost gained control and only existed to appease the lofty obsession that was set up to destroy all her values, even her will to live.
