At SFU, I had a plan: a new life-calm, focused, zero distractions. My dad's the hockey coach, and everything was supposed to be chill. Home games, a few practices, and a lot of studying. No boys. No drama. But then there was that night. And when I saw him at my dad's practice, everything flipped.

I thought I could forget. Move on. But how do you do that when he's everywhere? And now he's my partner for a make-or-break project?

Blake Wilder wasn't part of the plan. And maybe that's exactly the problem.

I didn't expect to meet Cleo Jones at a party before the semester started. Or that the night we had would haunt me the next day. Finding out she's the coach's daughter? Not on my radar.

But there's something about her, something I can't shake. I was supposed to focus on the ice, my goals, and proving to the scouts that I'm ready for the big leagues.

But this project has us spending way more time together than is safe, and the walls I tried to keep up are breaking fast.

Cleo is a risk. But some things-no matter how wrong impossible to ignore.
