Slow down! Recently a client was questioning whether her grandson had attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). She admitted that her grandson has never been tested, but he has always been on the go. She said that she is always telling him to "slow down". ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder and is the most common mental disorder affecting children and adolescents. ADHD often begins in childhood and can persist into adulthood. It may contribute to low self-esteem, troubled relationships, and difficulty at school.

It is not uncommon for children diagnosed with ADHD to believe that there is something wrong with them, and that they are different from other children. They may even think that they are "dumb".

Christian and the Psychologist introduces you to an adolescent who is grappling with his self-esteem as he experiences symptoms of ADHD.
