Dexie Montgomery's older brother is finally tying the knot with his long-term fiancé. As Ashley's maid-of-honor, Dexie has been entrusted to help the couple put the wedding together. Luckily she won't be on her own, she'll have help from the Montgomery family and her childhood crush, Jace Denson. Working so closely with Jace might not be the smartest move for Dexie, but she seems to be incapable of keeping her distance from him. Will the close quarters finally bring the pair together? Or will it be the kick in the head Dexie needs to leave him in her past and find a more suitable date? Perhaps in the arms of her high school sweetheart?

With several Montgomery family members staying on the farm to help with the wedding, the large family house is beginning to feel cramped. Having lost her privacy, her room, and not to mention her bed, Dexie has had enough. With family members prying into her love life, Dexie heads out to find a more permanent living situation – and one where she doesn't have to worry about bickering over a bathroom.

As the wedding draws closer a surprise guest wrecks havoc for the betrothed couple. Will this intrusion stop the wedding before it ever happens? Can Dexie stop them before they ruin everything they've worked so hard on? And why has this guest shown up?
