Five little Indian brothers like to play in the Beautiful Hills forest. The place is full of wild animals, and nature is all around. In the woods, they run into an old and mysterious Indian who can do magic. This friend shows them the lives of endangered animals and helps the kids talk to them. So, the children can pet the deer. They meet the few grizzlies, white and black bears living on the place's highest mountain. They also find out about the buffalo. When the kids discover these quiet animals, they learn something terrible about them. Sixty million buffalo used to live in Beautiful Hills. Now, a few thousand are still alive because of evil hunting. The last animal they meet is a strange gray fox, an almost extinct species. The kids get mad when they hear a fox say it takes up to eighteen of his kind to make a fox fur coat. Then, the children ask their friend if they can find a way to fight for the animals' rights and protect the wildlife.
