Alexander McKee and Simon Girty were colonial British Indian agents who preferred to remain loyal to the government which had long employed them when the colonies decided to sever connections with the motherland. While serving at Fort Pitt as Pennsylvania Militia officers, McKee and Girty were suspected of being involved in alleged Tory plots. Because warrants were issued for their arrests, both men fled to Fort Detroit and offered their services to the British. What did Alexander McKee supposedly do to be designated by the Continental Congress as the 'Evilest Man in America'? What did Simon Girty supposedly do to earn the reputation as the 'White Savage'? Well, that's what we hope to find out.
