From the author of Carrion, A Byrd & Crowe Mystery, The Hiding Game is a thrilling mystery buried in family secrets.

It's October in Saugatuck, and everyone is hiding something.

Veronica Simon has designed a line of jewelry with rare gems, her identity as the creative genius a well-kept secret. Successful realtor Cal Castro has drifted into a relationship with Genevieve Townsend, a woman who blackmails him into a proposal, insisting that he find her the perfect ring. Then the ring and the almost-fiancée disappear.

Whose secret is worth killing for?

J.E. Irvin is an educator, poet, and the author of seven mystery/thrillers. Her shorter works have appeared in a variety of publications, including Hawaii Pacific Review, Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine, Sherlock Holmes Mystery Magazine, Creosote, Sky Island Journal, and Flying Island Journal. Irvin, her husband, and their two crazy cats live in southwestern Ohio on the edge of a nature park, which serves as inspiration for much of her work.
