The purpose of this piece is a compilation of my thoughts during the election cycle of 2016 between Hillary Rodham Clinton and Donald John Trump. Also included herein are my thoughts of how the press and other politicians treated Trump during his first term in office. To be honest, I have never seen a president so embattled as Donald Trump. Though it took a minute for me to look passed his oversized ego and bombastic personality, once I was on board the Trump Train, there was no getting off. That man worked harder and accomplished more in just a single term in office than most presidents can do in two. As the years went on – and the media attacks were constant and relentless – I saw a man who truly loves this country, who simply wants to restore it to greatness, and who wants to make the American Dream reachable and attainable for average working-class Americans. The more mud they slung at him, and the more viral the vitriol against him, the more resilient and resolved he had become. No one has fought harder to serve as president than Donald J. Trump.
