At 17, Oriana has already experienced a lifetime of change. Her invention helped win a battle and saved the lives of rescued teens. But the war has only just begun and she remains deeply involved.

The Galactic Union is counting on Fleet to protect everyone and bring peace back. So Fleet has called on Oriana again. With her brother and other augmented teens, she ventures back out into space on the battleship Chicago. They're tasked with investigating a captured enemy ship.

Can Fleet, with help from a teenage girl, prevent more tragedy and save countless lives including her sister and the man she cares for? Oriana hopes so.
