A romantic-tragedy written by Vaikom Muhammad Basheer, Balyakaalasakhi is considered as Basheer's best work. The story revolves around Majeed and Suhra, who are in love with each other since their childhoods. By Basheer's own admission, the story is largely autobiographical.
