This study derives from the lives of three well-known public figures of the 18th Century; Lancelot "Capability" Brown, Thomas Chippendale and Rembrandt van Rijn. They are purposely grouped around the subject of "good living". Each in their different ways made a significant contribution to a different artistic endeavour in this wide field. Yes, it is a little, or a lot if you prefer, of pandering to the lives of the wealthy; but I do say we can all indulge in appreciation of fine things in smaller ways and enhance our own lives in the process.

Also, in a curious way these three disparate public figures are aligned in one place in rural England, or at least two of them were. But they all share the "Age 36 Phenomenon" in their lives.
