After defeating the treants in Ajole village, Ash and the Territory Reform Promotion Office embark on a trip to the Sukun region, famous for its hot springs. Maika sees this as the perfect opportunity to confess her feelings for Ash but is beaten to the draw by the boy's words, "I like you, but my heart lies somewhere else."
