It's Christmas night in the Southern California town of Santa Ana. While families pack up gifts and clear messy dinner tables, an older brother and his sister sight-see the festive neighborhood. Their world's turned upside down by the arrival of alien spaceships. Neighbors and family members are corralled by invaders, leaving it to Gracie and her brother to aid their captured community.
