The Black Throne of Aminiouse Glare has changed hands; the Wingflows now rule, and the Old Days are gone—but not lost... not yet.
Three former Throneguards of the Old Oblian cling to a dying resistance. They wish to drive out the Wingflows, along with their Assari pets, and restore the land to its former glory.

The Assari, however, have a different plan: replace one Wingflow with another and force the Throneguards to do it. The Throneguards now face a grim choice: find a compromise with the elvess assassins they despise or see their cherished way of life gone forever.
