After the damnation of his childhood friends and parents and the deaths of his new friends, Adler chases his brother, Mikheil, the king of the world, and the Light to the capital where he seeks to end this battle between them and put the world back to its original state. Because this involves the reintroduction of conflict, death, and suffering, Adler is weighed down by doubts, pain, and tragedy of the past, all of which may be the end of him.
