In ancient China, a farmer named Yìzé makes a regrettable wish. Now, he, his family, and his village are faced with a nü gui who won't stop ravaging the countryside until it gets its vengeance. In ancient China, there lived a humble farmer named Yìzé, who toiled tirelessly in the fields to provide for his family and the small village he called home. One fateful day, driven by frustration and desperation, he made a wish that he soon came to regret. Little did he know that his words would unleash a nü gui, a vengeful spirit known for haunting the living and sowing discord.

As the years passed, Yìzé, his family, and the countryside found themselves under the unrelenting torment of this supernatural entity. Strange occurrences began to plague their daily lives—people disappeared or were found mangled, and an eerie chill settled over the once-thriving village. The villagers, once united, grew fearful and suspicious of one another, blaming Yìzé for bringing this calamity upon them.

Yìzé realized that he must confront the unintended consequences of his wish and seek a way to appease the spirit before it destroyed everything he held dear.
