"A splendid cast leads this enthralling SF tale." Kirkus Reviews

Sofia Kaye has one dream: to get a degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. That is the only thing she's sure will rid her of the "loser" foster kid stigma that has followed her around for most of her life. She just won half the battle by receiving the coveted acceptance letter from MIT. Now, all she has to do is collect the money from a new reality TV show to pay for the part of her tuition her scholarship doesn't cover, and her dream will come true.

However, when Sofia arrives in France, the site of the reality show, she and two fellow contestants, Zach and Liv, discover the show is rigged. And she has a very bad feeling about Makin Daher, the billionaire tycoon behind the show, too.

As the three try to figure out what's going on, Daher coerces Liv into going to Egypt with him, and a mysterious man, who claims Daher is an Anunnaki, an alien from the planet Nibiru intent on taking over Earth, persuades Sofia and Zach into letting him help get Liv back.

But too many strange things have happened and Sofia, Zach, and Liv aren't sure what is truth and what is fiction or who is friend and who is foe anymore. The one thing they are sure of, though, is that this is no longer a game, and all three of their lives are in danger, as is Earth's future.
