Edward Miller was your typical underachieving high school student with a strong C average, who, after a series of unfortunate events one night, finds himself in a strange new world. A world of elves and goblins, invisible cities and talking trees, where the only remaining god seeks to destroy him and allies are found in the most unlikely of places. Guided by a mysterious woman, who eerily resembled someone he greatly admires, but who may have hidden motives of her own, Edward finds himself in one disaster after another.
