Mira, a young woman with a tragic background, finds herself in a life changing whirlwind of events when she is attacked and left for dead during a hunting expedition... by her own father.

She is found and rescued by a mysterious stranger, Kieran, who treats her injuries and nurses her back to health. Although there is an undeniable attraction between the two, Kieran realizes he must push Mira away to protect her life.
