But a recent string of PR-based affairs have left him craving something more, and it seems that he might have found that when he meets a beautiful older woman called Monica.

David Grove never used to be a loser - in fact, he was once rather successful - but a recent string of bad choices have left him living alone and hooked on a drug called Blue See - a narcotic that allows to see other versions of yourself from alternate realities. Only it does something extra for him, by allowing him to actually visit those places. David comes to realising the way that things should be, the universally perfect way of life that he messed up. With an axe in his hand and murder in his heart, he comes up with a plan to win back the love of the woman he so foolishly lost . . . a woman called Monica.
