When Sofia Kaye agreed to be on a new reality TV show, little did she know it would turn her entire world upside down and put her life in danger. Now, together with Zach, a boy she has feelings for, but who probably hates her, and Liv, a girl who definitely hates her, she has to find a way to defeat an alien race and save the Earth.

But after jumping through a portal to escape Makin Daher, the leader of the Anunnaki, they have to first find a way home, and God only knows where the portal sent them. As they search for clues, they uncover pieces of their past and who they really are. More importantly, they discover the gifts, which sometimes seem more like curses, that their parent gave them to help them become the true Guardians of the Earth.

But as it has been Sofia's entire life, nothing is simple, and the strained relationship between the three Guardians makes it all the more difficult. If they can't find a way to put their differences aside and work together, the sacrifices that will have to be paid could be great, and the consequences could be deadly.

And Earth could be doomed.
