Paramedic, Michael Perry, feels like he's been dying for four months. His marriage isn't going to save him and his addictions are only getting worse. When he hears the word "hypnosis," he hears permission slip. He hears a way out of the nicotine pit he's dug himself into. The therapy isn't responsible for his disturbing side effects, but that doesn't stop Mike from blaming his doctor, his wife, even his supervisor's new boyfriend for his symptoms. What Mike doesn't realize is that it's himself he's been fighting, and he's losing the battle.
